On 21 October has come and the first smartphones on the market.

Seven units should be here to start. Each has at least eight gigabytes of flash memory, a standard display resolution (WVGA), and a capacitive multi-touch screen. A GPS receiver, accelerometer, compass, light sensor and a camera with at least five megapixels and flash are also standard. Depending on your wireless service provider, various devices are available. The start-range on 21 October is like this:

German Telekom:
- HTC seven Mozart
- Samsung Omnia 7

E-Plus Group:
- Samsung Omnia 7
- LG Optimus 7

O2:
- HTC HD7

Vodafone:
- HTC 7 Trophy
- LG Optimus 7

The first apps should already be there for the launch. Included are, for example, RTL, the German Post, HRS, Flickr and more. More apps will follow in the coming months.
