Self-controlled cars are, admittedly, a nice view, but this is still a distant prospect. Even the most optimistic Google employee said that it was currently at least eight years away from the market. Nevertheless, the future looks promising: researchers believe that automatically propelled vehicle could double the number of cars, because robots can take a shorter distance to the vehicle in front.
