AMD has now officially released the names and first details of the new graphics card series. The first cards called Radeon HD 6870 and Radeon HD 6850th

According Teested the cards have two DVI, two mini-screen and a regular HDMI port, which are a total of five video outputs. Apparently the cards with 11.1 inches are slightly shorter than the 5970er. By comparison, the GeForce GTX 480 is 10.5 inches long. Furthermore, the new GPUs swallow less power and hopefully provide a little more power than the previous generation.
