Sap Erp 6.0 Has Arrived In The Broad Customer Base
This result has identified the latest investment survey of the association. When it comes to user support largely rely on tried and tested – to the standard support.
IT budgets remain in 2010 compared to the previous year. Prof. Dr. Karl Liebstückel, DSAG CEO of the investment behavior: “Our member companies are currently focusing on projects with which they can update their core applications and expand. The users behave conservatively at the moment. ”
Last year, the spread of SAP ERP 6.0 has not yet received a further boost. About 80 percent of the participating companies now put the latest version of ERP (cf. 2009: almost 47 per cent). The high percentage refers primarily to the main installations. The value determined, however, permits only one conditional inference based on the overall prevalence rate of SAP ERP 6.0. The proportion in respect of all installations is to experience significantly lower.
In addition to SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse (over 30 percent), the SAP Business Objects is in the interest of Porfolio DSAG members. Nearly 15 percent of respondents plan to the newly created products to invest. This represents an increase of 50 percent compared to last year. Slightly more than one fifth of the respondents feel about the issue by SAP well informed. However, there is the rest of the respondents still demand more information.
While nearly one third the impact on SAP’s product portfolio is evaluated positively, nearly 20 percent previously had no opinion on the developments are around the acquisition of Business Objects in the autumn of 2007.
To 15 March 2010 SAP customers have time to opt for a variant of the support model. Among the organizations in the DSAG CIOs shows a clear trend towards standard support. The majority of the IT manager has expressed himself so to maintain the simple support model. Then as now, roughly two thirds of users had no significant value to SAP Enterprise Support.
The DSAG investment survey is conducted once a year. In 2010 participated in the survey of almost 300 member companies. The data was collected during the period from December 2009 until the end of January 2010. The German-speaking SAP User Group (DSAG) e. V. in Walldorf, Germany sees itself as an independent interests of all SAP users in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
