HP has unveiled new models of the EliteBook 8000W Series. The HP EliteBook 8740w is aimed at users who need a mobile workstation with high graphics and computing performance.
The new HP EliteBook i5 is equipped with Intel Core or Core i7 processor and Intel chipset equipped QM57. Like its predecessor, it has a configurable 17-inch display that can present as IPS panel over 1 billion colors. It has an LED backlight.
The user has the choice between NVIDIA Quadro FX or ATI FirePro workstation graphics cards. Thanks to ATI EyeFinity technology can thus be controlled up to 5 independent displays. Resolutions up to 1920×1200 (WUXGA) are possible. Equipped with a full license for HP, the HP EliteBook 8740w Skyroom an HD provides video conferencing system for team work in real-time communication.
